ABOUT Michael Gromczewski
Michael is an Ohio Valley native for all but 2 years of his life. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1976. He resigned from active ministry in 1985 and was restored to the status of a lay person. In his remaining professional career, he has been a truck driver for 10 years and worked in various capacities of social services. Before coming to Trinity full time, Michael worked for 17 years as a case manager for the Jefferson County Board of Developmental Disabilities. He has worked for Trinity Health System as a chaplain for 13 years. He is now in his 3rd year at Trinity full time. In his various capacities, he has spent years working with people and families experiencing sickness and death. In 2016, he obtained 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education thru the Cleveland Clinic to provide a high level of quality care to the hospital community. Michael has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. His hobbies are cooking, driving and collecting toy trucks. He is passionate about animals, especially dogs. His life motto is “If you’re going to do something, enjoy it”.
