Trinity to Offer Spring Sports Skills Competition and Testing

Trinity Sports Medicine has teamed with Edison Central League to provide a Spring Sports Skills program at Hammondsville Baseball Complex on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9:00am – 6:00pm.  Participants in the league will improve their skills with Dynamic Warm Up, Throwing Accuracy, Throwing Speed and a Laser Timed Home to First throwing competition.  Other activities are Injury Prevention, Pitch Counts, Nutrition and Hydration and Concussion Management.  Prizes will be awarded for all age groups.

According to Dr. Michael Scarpone, Trinity Sports Medicine Medical Director, “We have been developing this skills testing for the past few years for Fall Sports and it was evident that a Spring Sports program would also be beneficial.  This program will not only develop the proper skills necessary for Spring Sports, but will also include health and safety practices to keep all of the athletes safe and playing at a higher level.”

Trinity Sports Medicine will also provide this training for individual, group, and team training upon request.  Call Trinity Sports Medicine at 740-266-3866 for more information.
