Thank You, Eric Snyder, for Representing Trinity Health System in Passing SB 196
SB 196, Global Signature Authority, was introduced on the Ohio Senate Floor by State Senator Kristina Roegner on February 28, 2024. The primary goal of SB 196 is to remove outdated policy that prevents APRNs in the state of Ohio from completing and signing paperwork for their patients that is within the APRN’s scope of practice.
 
Eric Snyder DNP, APRN-CNP, Hospitalist NP with Trinity Twin City Medical Center in Dennison, Ohio, is a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (OAAPN), which has been working closely with Senator Roegner to ensure this reform is passed.
 
OAAPN is excited about the introduction of this important piece of legislation to the Ohio Senate Health Committee and are hopeful it will be passed into law in the near future. We’re honored to have Eric representing Trinity Health System in these vital efforts.
