Golfers Support Trinity

Members of the Spring Hills Women’s Golf League recently donated the proceeds from their Invitational Golf Tournament to the TEAR Fund at Trinity Health System’s Tony Teramana Cancer Center.¬† The group doubled its donation from last year and delivered a check for $2,570.00.¬† The TEAR Fund assists cancer patients with needed items during their treatment.

The Invitational Tournament has provided funds for the past five years which totaled $8,045.00.  The donation was generated by hole sponsors and a Chinese Auction that showcased items from area businesses.

Several of the league members are cancer survivors, which added to their willingness to help the TEAR Fund.
