Imaging services are provided by technologists who are certified in their respective modality and licensed by the state of Ohio. All imaging services require a physician’s order and can be scheduled by calling our Central Scheduling Office at 740-283-7440 Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
GENERAL DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY
Services Include:
- General X-rays
- Fluoroscopic Procedures
- Outpatient Invasive Procedures
- Dedicated Emergency Department X-ray Rooms
General X-rays can be performed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Some exams require a scheduled appointment. Please call Trinity West Radiology Department at 740-264-8287 for inquiries. ULTRASOUND

Ultrasounds can be scheduled Monday through Friday at Trinity West from 7:30am to 4:00pm and on Saturdays from 7:30am to 10:30am. Most ultrasound examinations require patient preparation. CT SCAN
Services Include:
- CT Diagnostic Scans

The CT department utilizes a *64 slice scanner and a *128 slice scanner with state of the art *i-DOSE, Dose Reduction Software. This technology allows a 30% – 80% reduction in radiation dose while simultaneously optimizing image quality. Outpatient CT scans are scheduled between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 8:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday and Sunday. NUCLEAR MEDICINE
General Nuclear Medicine
Services Include:
- Bone Scans
- Hepatobiliary Scans
- Lung Scans
- Liver and Spleen Scans
- Gastric Emptying Scans
- Thyroid Uptake and Scans
- I131 Therapies
- Strontium and Samarium Therapies, ect.

Cardiac Nuclear Medicine
Services Include:
- Thallium Stress Tests
- Cardiolite Stress Tests
- Dual Isotope Stress Tests
- Resting Tests
Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Scans are performed in The Heart Center at Trinity West from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. PET/CT Nuclear Imaging
Services Include:
- Whole Body Imaging; Skull to Mid Thigh
- Melanoma Imaging
- Brain Imaging
Positron Emission Tomography with CT scan provides optimal localization imaging by fusing the CT scan with the functional imaging of the nuclear PET scan. PET/CT is performed in the Tony Teramana Cancer Center at Trinity West. If you have questions about PET/CT Imaging Services you may call 740-264-8795. MRI IMAGING
Services Include:
- Breast MRI
- MRI Guided Breast Biopsy
- All MRI Diagnostic Scans
MRI exams are scheduled from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday and 6:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays at Trinity West. PROCEDURES PERFORMED IN RADIOLOGY
Services performed with US, CT, or Fluoroscopic Guidance Include:
- Biopsies
- Abscess Drainages
- Joint Injections
- Thoracentesis
- Paracentesis
- Gallbladder Drains
- Myelograms
- Lumbar Punctures
Procedures for out patients are scheduled from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Appointments may be scheduled Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 6:30 pm and Fridays from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm with additional appointments available one Saturday per month. Imaging services are provided by technologists who are certified in diagnostic radiology and licensed by the state of Ohio. Patients must have a physician’s order with them at the time of service.
Services Include:
- General Diagnostic X-rays
Diagnostic x-ray services are available from 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week. For questions about diagnostic x-ray services available at Trinity ExpressCare please call 740-346-2702. No appointment is necessary for general diagnostic x-rays.
