Nausea and vomiting are common symptoms of a wide variety of illnesses and conditions. Vomiting is the emptying of the stomach’s contents, while nausea is the uneasy sensation that you need to vomit.
Nausea and vomiting can be caused by anything from the early stages of pregnancy to a concussion to a disease of the digestive system. Only a doctor will be able to determine the underlying cause of your nausea and vomiting, either through a physical exam or more extensive testing.
