We are pleased to announced  that we have four nurses who have completed the Adult/Adolescent Education and Training for Sexual Assault Nursing of the Adult/Adolescent Patient Provided by OSU WMC University Hospital East SANE Team.

The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner is a registered nurse who has been specially trained to care for patients who have experienced sexual assault.

This training is intended to provide the registered nurse with the knowledge and skills needed to care for these complex and challenging adult and

adolescent patients.
