Save the Date for Trinity Health System’s 5th Annual “Crimson Connections for Your Heart”

Steubenville, Ohio—January 20, 2026– Trinity Health System, a member of CommonSpirit Health, is proud to announce its 5th Annual “Crimson Connections for Your Heart” event. The celebration will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, at St. Florian Hall, 286 Luray Drive in Wintersville, Ohio.

As heart disease remains a leading health challenge for women, this annual gathering serves as a vital touchpoint for education, connection, and preventive care. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Trinity Health System Foundation Cardiology Capital Fund, ensuring that high-quality cardiovascular care remains accessible to all members of our community.

“When women come together, real change happens. Events like Crimson Connections bring education, medical resources, and community support together to help women take proactive steps toward their heart health,” said Rachel Sommers Kemp, Communications Specialist, Marketing and Communications, Trinity Health System. “At Trinity Health System, we try to put humankindness at the forefront of everything we do, and I think this event demonstrates that.”

The event, featuring Franciscan University of Steubenville as the Crimson Signature Sponsor, offers attendees a unique blend of clinical wellness and restorative self-care. Participants can access:

Health Check Stations: Providing blood pressure and wellness screenings to empower women with knowledge of their heart health risks.
Restorative Care: Professional chair massages, manicures, and a “Crimson Beauty Boutique” designed to reduce stress—a known factor in heart disease.
Community Connection: A shared luncheon and opportunities to engage with local health experts and fellow community members.

A highlight of the afternoon will be the recognition of the “Crimson Connection Champion,” an honor bestowed upon a local woman who has inspired others to live their best, healthiest lives.

“Our goal with this event is about more than just awareness and education–it’s about connection,” said Sommers Kemp. “We want to link the women in this community with lifesaving resources, while also creating a welcoming space for restoration, relaxation, and conversation. Everyone deserves a little pampering every now and then!”
