Trinity Health System and the Tony Teramana Cancer Center held the Annual Survivors Dinner recently.  This event marked the sixteenth consecutive year for the dinner which celebrates the lives of cancer survivors and their caregivers.  Over 220 cancer survivors and caregivers attended.
Keith Murdock, Trinity Director of Community Relations & Development served as the Master of Ceremonies.
Matt Grimshaw, Trinity President & CEO welcomed the group.
Guest speakers included three cancer survivors and two physicians at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center.  Dr. Pervais Rahman and Dr. Mark Trombetta shared their experiences with cancer patients and both said their time in Steubenville has been the most rewarding of their careers.
Cathy Cich shared her sister Barb’s battle with cancer and the outstanding experience she had with the Tony Teramana Cancer Center and its staff.  Amy Hutchison recalled her husband Sean’s diagnosis and treatment, and Melissa Brown told the story of her father Frank’s battle with cancer.
The dinner was sponsored by Trinity Health System, The Tony Teramana Cancer Center, Images Mammography Center, and the Prime Time Center.
