Volunteer Spotlight: Zackary Kuntz

Congratulations to Zackary Kuntz, Trinity Health System Volunteer, on being accepted into Case Western Reserve.

Zack is a senior at Edison Local High School and carries a 4.0 grade point average. He’ll be graduated in May 2025.

He has been a Volunteer for Trinity Health System Materials Management West, with over 150 hours contributed to the Ministry.

His accomplishments are as follows:

• Team captain for his senior year as a starter in several positions for his high school football team at Edison Local
• Student Ambassador for EGCC
• Tri- State Young Marines Senior NCO (YM/GY Sgt.)
• EHS Drama Club
• Student Representative to EHS school board
• National Beta Club
• EHS Boys Track and Field Team – title letter winner
• Edison Leadership Council
• Awards include: Bordas and Bordas Scholar Athlete of the Week (2022); EGCC President List (2022-2023); and Governor’s Merit Scholarship

Zack also participated in Buckeye Boys State for which he was selected to represent American Legion Post 557. He scored the highest mark on a simulated bar exam in which he acted as a private attorney for a law firm in the courts department. Zack was awarded a victory in a trial against the elected governor for constitutional infractions.

In September 2024, Zack requested a letter of recommendation for Case Western Reserve and shared the news on December 29 that he was accepted.

We would like to acknowledge and thank Zack for all of his Volunteer efforts, but also for all of his hard work in our community. Congratulations, Zack, on your new and upcoming academic venture at Case Western Reserve.
